356 Aft Cabin - factory window tint removal/replacement, removal of upholstered vertical window dividers

Hello,

The factory window tint on my front and side windows is flaking off in areas and needs to be replaced. To make it easier for the window tint people (and for a better quality job) I want to remove the vertical vinyl upholstered trim pieces as shown in the attached pictures.

The two on the front windows (first and third pictures) have two visible screws which when removed don't seem to loosen the trim pieces. The two side trim pieces on both port and starboard sides (second picture) have no visible fasteners or apparent ways to remove them.

Does anyone have experience removing these?

Thanks for any advice/guidance anyone may have.

I see no one has replied and you likely have already done this but, I tinted my front windows in a 405 without moving this panels and had no issue whatsoever. There is plenty of room to cut the tint to fit behind the black trim around the window. As to your question of removing the panels no, I do not but would suspect the two screws should be it. Perhaps try sliding them up (may not be enough room for that but a thought) perhaps they are on a hook style track?

Thanks for the reply Kevin.

I actually just removed all the tint last week and do see that in most cases there is plenty of room to adhere the new tint in the painted black border areas of the windows though in a few areas the installers will need to be very careful with their razor blades when they complete the job next week.

When I'm at the boat next week I'll test out your hook style track suggestion. Again thanks for the reply!
