2002 Carver 346
While steering, it goes from easy to hard, then back to easy, then back to hard? Any suggestions on what the issue could be?

When was the last time you topped off your hydraulic steering system fluid?

Its a new to me boat so Im not sure when it was last serviced? Do you know which hydraulic fluid it requires?

EDIT: Going to use Quicksilver "Power Trim and steering fluid"
