sliding salon door noise

I noticed on the weekend a gritty or grinding noise when moving the door on our 350 (1998) Mariner. Appears to be at the top of the door. After continued use for the weekend it disappeared. Is there a recommended lubricant for the track? Is it a big job to remove door if necessary?

I haven't had this problem, but maybe try rinsing it well with a hose?

We had this problem with our last season. We replaced the door sweep at the top of the door.... awkward, but it solved the problem.

I would like to try a dry lube first, but if the gritty sound returns how did you get at the track to replace the door sweep?

With the door fully closed we were get the old one out fairly easily as it was dry and pretty much falling apart. We found a suitable replacement at a Rona building centre and slowly fed it in to the track.

Removing the door would be the best but I really didn't want to go there. So far the results have been OK.

Try using white lithium grease. It comes in a spray can and you can get it at most auto stores. I used it the tracks of my sliding windows and it works great.
