length of hose?

Anyone know the length of hose I would need to pump out a 1989 2757 Montego?

I have one that the head/shower has water built up. ran the pump and the level went down but as soon as pump was shut off it rose back up again.

Can't find the tank to do a visual (Carver manuals is missing sheets) or even find the routing of the hoses to give me a hint.

It is already on the trailer in the back yard so I thought I would just do a pump out there.

If anyone would have the locator guide sheets that are referenced in my manual bout not found in section O, I would love them!

Thanks!

Jeff

The shower pump on the 2757 is a constant run (while you are showering) unit that pumps the shower water directly overboard near the back of the starboard side. Not sure why it would come back in unless you are not letting it run long enough to expel all of the water in the lines. The pump is mounted on the plywood platform beside the starboard engine near the stbd battery.

Awesome!! I will let her run.

Should I put some pink stuff (ani-freeze)in the water before I pump?

Most certainly. When you winterize turn on the shower sump pump and dump about a half gallon of the pink stuff and let it pump out. I would rather be safe than sorry.

Well, she is put away for the winter here in the great white north. And yes I had it was covered before the snow fall "as seen on TV". Yes that was us featured on the national news last weekend for the first significant snowfall in the lower 48.

By the way, Bryan at Carver got me the missing sheet. Showed me where the pump was located. I would never have guessed it was located where it was and was direct to a thru hull. My first boat with a shower.
