I have a 1994 Cockpit Motor Yacht. For the life of me I cannot find the Hull ID number! I have looked on the usual starboard side transom and also the side but NOTHING. Is there a secret spot or another place they may be? ANY help would be SO appreciated!

I am pretty sure it <must> be on the Starboard transom, just under the gunnel.

Your survey should show where it is. Not just show the HIN, but show where the HIN is.

A couple of other spots to check are on the transom under the swim platform or on one of the stringers in the engine bay. Unusual though for it not to be on the strb aft quarter of the hullside or strb corner of transom under the gunnel.

I spoke to Carver, and they said the HID # is NOT embossed into the fiberglass, but rather a plate with 2 screws holding it onto the transom.

They did say it was also fastened onto the stringer UNDER the starboard engine. Just a plate maybe 1.5" x 6". I am sure I am going to have a "hull" of a time finding it!

No it's not embossed into the fiberglass, it is as they say, a white plastic plate fastened to the hull. Check out the top right picture in this link, the one with the label under it. It is not a Carver # but the plate is very similar.
