Has anyone put a Norcold DE 0061 into a Carver 3207? If you have do you have pics to show how you did it. It's not the same size as the Norcold that came with the boat in 1983.

I'm going with a Vitrifrigo DP2600 instead of Norcold DE0061 on a '98 405 due to size. The old DE0561 will have to have compressor and condenser on back removed before it will fit through door to salon. The Vitrifrigo can have the frame and doors removed (which Norcold can't) so it will be under 22 inches. Also refrigerator has more space for same size Norcold.

The frig will fit thru the door if..
1. Get three people to help
2. Disconnect the hatch door and fold it back to toward the capt chair.
3, put one person inside the boat to steady and receive the frig.
4. This is the BIG one lift the frig straight up and lower it into the boat, dont try to go thru the door, it will not fit.

Good luck
