Bigger is always better, but realize this is not a simple add-on. You will need serious wiring and maybe even a separate battery to operate a windlass - plus wiring for local and remote switches. There's been some progress with these in recent years, some now handle chain and line about equally well or in combination. You will need to shop around a bit - do you want below or above deck? Horizontal or vertical? Do your homework before you buy and you will be happy with the resutls.

I installed a Maxwell RC6 (or similar model) in a 1993 350 Aft Cabin back in 2007. Handled both the chain and rode along with a rather hefty Delta anchor. Went with a separate battery and charger in the forward stateroom. Since I had upper and lower stations and single handed her often I decided to install the wireless controller. It was easy to install and the remote worked great and allowed me to anchor from either station and standing on the bow. Really helps when you don't have to ask your girlfriend to weigh the anchor in a tight anchorage situation.
