Hi all. Last week I noticed moisture in the lens of my search light (I mean few ounces of water) actually. Opened up the lens and emptied, when I try to dry inside with paper towel, mirror coating came off. Light works, not very bright to begin with. Motor works in turning in any direction. I hate to throw that away, also getting new one would mean getting wiring through tight spaces, etc. So I been looking for 2 things, 1) just replacing the mirror coated piece around the bulb or 2) led bulb that I can just replace the existing light and the mirror coating around it. Any one have any ideas. I searched every where on internet I do not see any replacement parts. Also not sure how water got in, as I keep it facing down towards stern so as to keep it protected from salt water and just water in general.

I had a remote cable controlled one on our Carver. Was no way to fix it so I replaced it with a Golight. I think that it run me about $125 from some on line seller this was about 5 years ago. Came set up for 24 volt but all you have to do is remove a circuit board. Came with instruction which I read for a change. :-D Jim
