Removal of multi-CD changer

I have a CD changer which is installed in a cabinet above the electrical panels. I would like to remove the changer (we use Bluetooth now) but there are no visible connections, screws, etc.

Has anyone removed such a device and, if so, how is it done? This cabinet is in a 2000 396 aft cabin.

Search for the installation manual online for that particular brand and type, there are pictures of the bracket. Usually simply screwed to the car/cabinet and then the changer to that bracket with 2 or 4 small bolts. However, I've seen creative solutions to mounting in small areas from click-in (factory) to velcro (aftermarket add ons) to even glued in place (after after after after market DIY-IDCATNOT (I don't care about the next owner's troubles)

Does that panel pop up perhaps? Obivously can't pull it towards you as there is a beautiful wooden strip in front of it but if it can move up, you might find screws bottom up that hold the unit or its brackets.

CD's, nostalgia to when one would play a whole album from beginning to end like the artists intended (Pink Floyd era, not the one hit wonder times after that)

Thanks. There are several screws on the side of the changer. I will try removing them next time I am on the boat.

Its most likely attached from underneath. Turn off all power, remove the screws from your electrical panel and tilt it front. I'll bet you'll find two screws holding the changer.
