1996 Carver 370 Aft Cabin - water line size

Postby rob37w » March 9th, 2021, 5:06 pm

Need to replace a few fitting. It looks like 1/2” line. Is that correct?

Ordering this to replace the elbow that goes to the head water value. Just want to make sure it is indeed 1/2” pipe throughout the boat.

My '95 355 Aft is 1/2" .

I was led to believe it was going to be 15mm, so I bought some 15mm connections online only to discover it was really 1/2" and I could get everything at Menards! Gotta love a WI built boat! :)

My experience so far has been that the line size is generally printed somewhere on the hose. The other place to check if away from your boat might be the parts manual for your year, so long as it is available on the Carver Yachts site....they did use some different sizes over the years for sure.......double checking your specific boat is always the best idea.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

I have an 1989 Mariner Mariner 32. 1/2 tubing was standard for my model. I ended up removing most of the water lines and replacing them with 1/2 pex. I haven’t had a leak since.
