Anyone have a solution as to why my boat won’t rev higher than 1750 rpms? I have 2005 56 Pilot house.

I don't know that system at all, but it seems like Error 55 on a CruiseCommand comes back to a battery issue.
Is this just one engine or both?

It’s on both engines. Not sure if that’s the issue. I will power them off and back on and see if that’s the issue. When I run her at 1750 it shows 100% load on the engines?

Did you check the basics first; clean air filters, clean fuel filter assemblies, new fuel filters? Do they smoke a lot? Does the boat get used a lot, how old is the fuel?
It would help to know what engine package we're talking about here.

When was the last time the bottom and running gear was cleaned?

All the maintenance has been done on the. Cummings engines. J believe they’re 660’s. It just happened for the first time last week.
I’m thinking of restring the cruise commander. I also have trolling valves installed in vancouver for fishing. I got some wired going on.

Is it possible it's in trolling mode? Again, don't know that system but just doing some quick reading it seems like you can toggle it into a "trolling mode" which restricts the engines so they only will go to part throttle.

Some applications also have a switchable low rpm setting for docking, etc.
