Hi all, I have a 1998 Carver 350 Mariner. The port side window is broken and needs to be replaced. Carver gave me the manufacture that was making the window for that model, Taylor Made Systems. They don't manufacture those windows anymore and gave me another manufacturer, Ocean Dynamics in Miami. Does anyone have any ideas where I can get a window?

That is awful! I would contact local glass companies for a custom replacement. Its amazing what they can do.

Hi Scurvy Dog, so far I'm striking out with local glass companies.

Welcome aboard. Contact some marine salvage places on the west coast like Marine Connection Liquidators in Florida...
http://www.themarineconnection.com/You can also try on-line overstock retailers like Great Lakes Skipper...
https://www.greatlakesskipper.com/Get a list of Carver dealerships and start making calls or sending emails, you never know what they might still have lying around.

I'm also wondering if it's worth contacting Carver again and asking if they have any information on who they might have sold excess inventory to once they finished production of that model boat. They keep some hardware on hand for a while but I'm sure some stuff gets sold to overstock companies. That's how I sourced a couple of things already. You should probably ask Taylor Made the same question.

I seem to vaguely remember there was someone on here that had the same problem with a side window......just don't remember all the details or how or whether it got resolved......not much help I know but maybe a search of this site may reveal it.

And I'd keep checking on glass companies.
Years ago I had all new windows made for the cabin on a boat I was rebuilding. I wanted the new ones tinted and tempered and cut with custom angles. I made cardboard templates for all the windows and went shopping around. One of the first places I went to was an auto glass company and they did the whole job pretty cheap (I still have the receipt and it was 30 years ago!!) Mine did not need any bends, but while I was there he showed me a few other pieces they had with all kinds of curves and shapes. I was quite impressed they could do that with glass, and make it tempered and tough too. That was over 30 years ago, I can't imagine what they can do now.

Hi all, really thank you for all your suggestions. Taylor Made gave me the name of a possible manufacturer of the window. It's a place in Miami called Ocean Dynamics. They said they can make the window. I have since turned this over to my insurance for help as well.
Again thanks for all your comments.
