Hello, I was checking the engine compartment and noticed that the port side is completely missing the part which is in the first two pictures. Looks like some kind of hydraulic component and the two lines that would feed it are ziptied to a hose above. Also, my port trim is not working. Does anyone know what the missing part is?Thanks!

Not really sure, but could it be a power steering cylinder? Do you have twin engines and outdrives?

The missing part is a steering cylinder but you only need one in a dual sterndrive application. The two drives are hooked up together with a solid steering rod.
On the front port side of the port engine, look for the power steering pump, it'll have a cap on top of it that you can remove to check and top up steering fluid. Check to see if there is a belt on that pump. If there is, remove the cap and see if there is fluid in it. I suspect there isn't or it would be spewing out of the hoses in your pic as I don't see any end caps on them. The problem is you shouldn't be running those pumps dry even if they aren't doing any work. If there is no belt on the pump then no worries.
Looks like you have Alpha drives. I think I've already addressed the trim issue in your other thread.
