Good morning
I want to repaint the window frames of my 370 Voyager from 93. Once the screws are removed I can't get them out and I can't slide a through blade, something is blocking me. I think the frames are not flat behind. I couldn't find anything on the forum. Does anyone know or have done this before?
Thank for your help.

Just flipping the picture around. You sure it's not just some caulking/sealant holding it in at this point?

Ok thank you, I don't know if it is in a block or does it have a frame in front?

May I suggest.....paint them in place if they are sealed well now. There are many products that can give very nice results. A little masking etc.
I would be very hesitant to disturb well sealed frames IMO.

The only thing holding the frame in after removing screws it adhesive sealant.
You need to get a small flat bar under the outer aft flange and pry outward. If you have a plunge tool, it's easy to get in under the flange with a scraper blade to cut the sealant/adhesive to get started. If no plunge tool, a 1" hand scraper and plastic mallet will do the trick.
It's a good idea to place some painters tape along the outer edge of the opening to minimize scratching your gel coat. You'll need to use 2 small flat bars. Once you get the corner started you can pry with one bar and and use the other to maintain pressure as you move around the opening.
You "Can" remove the frame with the windows installed, but I recommend you remove the glass first.
Here's a few pics of one of my frames removed.

While you're at it, might consider re-painting your aft corners & air deflectors
Before:VideoCapture_20230709-172335.jpg

After: Sandblasted, primed with 2 part epoxy primer, one coat high build primer, sanded, sealed with thinned coat of epoxy primer, painted with 4 coats single stage automotive paint.... Used a spray gun & compressor for these.

Sorry for the orientation.... This pick was taken before I sanded and buffed out the orange peal. Prep by sanding original paint, prime with 2 part epoxy paint, sand smooth, apply color coats. I Used a 4" roller with fine foam roller and applied 4 color coats, then wet sanded and buffed.

How did you get inside access to remove the air deflectors?

If you happen to have speakers installed in the port & starboard aft panels, you may be able to reach everything by removing them and accessing though the holes.
The hand holds are secured with threaded studs in the end of the handle with flat washer & lock nut on the inside. The screws are simple machine screws with flat washers and lock nuts... I'ts a 2 person job when it comes to removing the screw nuts from inside.
If you can't access all the screws & hand hold studs through speaker holes, you'll have to remove interior panels, which are mostly held by velcro. There are a few screws in the stbd door frame/jamb that hold the stbd "V" shaped stand off panel, which IIRC, is also screwed into the lower window panel. The upper & Lower panels around the window are held with wide velcro.
The port side panel has a screw in the mid line corner, with the rest of the panel held with Velcro. This panel is a PIA to get out/in due to the overlapping threshold trim/curtain channel under the door frame and the upper upholstered trim pieces in the corner. The panel is pretty flexible, so a little twisting and bending will be needed.
Hint; Use plastic automotive trim removal tools when trying to get in/under the panels. Be prepared to re-staple some of the Velcro

Hello,
I'm trying to remove the windows but I don't want to break them how do you remove them there's not much missing to get them out of the rail but not enough without forcing. If I'm not mistaken it's glass?
How did the interior paneling behave after removing the window frames, please?
