I'm looking for a source for the material used to make the OEM stern rail sheeting.
Any help would be appreciated.

Hi Papa, when I looked into replacing a panel on our 1992 36 aft cabin, I found this material called arena board.
It’s available in 1/8” sheets. Never did order it, but talking to the employee at our local Industrial Plastic and Paint dealer, he felt that this would be perfect for this purpose.

Just going to throw this out there. We took off the old white material and replaced it with smoke acrylic. Game changer. Now you’ve doubled your field of vision of the water around the back deck. Super easy to work. Cuts well, drills well. Use a sander to bevel the edges. Used a heat gun to bend the 90 degree corners. I think it came in 2’ x 3’ section which worked well. 2’ tall was perfect and just cut a little from the other side to meet at each post.
Downside - back of our boat faces West and get intense afternoon sun. Back pieces have turn ever so slightly from gray to a slight purplish. Nobody notices it but me. Ceramic coated them and cant see anymore changes. Love having more view of the water.

Hi Guys
We just used the solid white for privacy, and it blocks the sun after a long hot day on the water. We miss those days of summer already!
