1984 3607 AC - V Berth Pocket door falls off track

Fellow Mariners - As the title indicates - 1984 Caver 3607 Aft Cabin.
There is a pocket door for the forward V Berth area. The door continually falls of the rail and the only way to easily re-seat it is from the salon side. Embarrassing for both our guests and the Admiral and I.

I have tried adjusting the nuts on the hanging hardware to no avail

Anyone else have this issue and solved it?

What I did was added some little blocks of high density polyethylene ("starboard" or equivalent) to the top of the door in between the rollers. Then, when you adjust the rollers to raise the door to get clearance on the bottom, you eliminate a gap at the top where the door can bounce up and allow the rollers to come out of the track.

You just cut a couple small blocks, the width of the door, maybe 2" long and just high enough to close that gap, but will allow you to get the rollers into the track. Take the door out, screw them into the top of the door, then remount the door and adjust the roller screws until these block just barely clear the door track. If they rub on the door track a little it won't matter because they are low-friction blocks.

I might have some pics of what I did, but it was years ago and would take me a while to find them
