Hi guys! I noticed water around the shaft of the starboard rudder shaft. Port side is dry as a bone. Anyone have this happen? 360 Sport Sedan.
Thanks in advance, Andrew

Normal, maybe packing needs a small adjustment.

Yes you can if you can get to it .. :-D ....google it and watch someone do this if you have never done this before.....have a look in your manual, there should be a drawing of the rudder parts, from that you can see the locknut and how it works....loosen lock nut ,tighten one flat, re-lock and see what happens.....the procedure I have used on packing is generally to loosen till it leaks to flush it then re tighten till you are happy. Good luck man.

Thanks guys, did some searching, I understamd better the concept. I will try the tightening . but, for sure they probably need the new packing. No a major amount of water, but I love the look of a clean engine room.
