Want to purchase tune up parts such as filters and impellers for my recently purchased 1986 AC 3207. Im having trouble nailing down what engines I have based on the serial numbers. I cant seem to find these serial number ranges when I go to websites that sale parts etc. Any help on id'ing the engines and a good place to purchase parts would be welcome. Thanks.

SERIAL NUMBERS:
Port: A483163
Starboard: A492900

Can you take a pic of the engine id plates, maybe they are rebuilds....what color are the engines ?

It really helps to have the make and model number. Are they black or blue? Those serial numbers don't come up under Mercruiser so I suspect they're Crusader. Are you getting these serial numbers from plaques on the engines or just paperwork that you have? A couple of places to check for plaques are the rocker covers, Flame arrestor cover/cowling, the side of the oil pan, and at the rear of the engine on the flywheel cover.

PS, I can't see the image you posted.

I can see the pics, but I can't blow them up.
If you are looking for filters, look at the part numbers of the filters installed, same with spark plugs.
For the raw water impellers, get a good pic of the pump housing. They are most likely standard merc impellers but may have had pumps changed over the years.

Looks like 5.0L (305) 230 MIE or 5.7L (350) 260 MIE GM engines

Go to the link below, click on the "Main Tree" tab on the left, click on the "Inboard and TowSports" section, click on the "Gas" section, and look for the two models I mentioned above. There will be a few in each category so check the model year. Here you will see a parts breakdown and their part numbers. I tried entering your serial numbers a few different ways but it wouldn't return any results. Let us know if you have a problem navigating through it.....

BTW, your impeller is 47-59362. Very common and easy to find.
Spin-on Fuel filter - 35-802893T (Merc brand) or 35-802893Q (Quicksilver brand) both are Mercury brands, same filter

Thanks for the tips. I went and did some more looking. Looks like you are correct in that they are 260 MIE's. Thanks everyone.
