Hi all... Prepping the boat for launch after a long layup. Port motor turned over great. Starboard gives me a 3.3 fault. Can't clear it. The motor gives a clunk when I try to crank it but that's it. Thoughts? Anyone know what a 3.3 is? It's not in the manual. Thanks in advance

Can't help with the 3.3 fault....but considering a long layup, how are the batteries, all battery terminals clean and tight.....grounds all ok.

Batteries good, fully charged and load tested. All terminals cleaned and tight.

Can you turn the engine over by hand with a wrench or socket?

False alarm. Traced the the entire loom and found the coolant temp sender was not connected. It does appear I need to wire in a new connector (broken retainer clip) but all is good otherwise. Thanks for the quick responses!!

So does the engine turn over and run now ? Maybe you know but if not there is a site called boat diesel that a lot of diesel guys recommend.

Makes you wonder why it's broke?
