Volvo D6 Water Pump Impeller

Postby Midnightsun » April 27th, 2019, 1:53 am

Guess this is addressed to Viper. I checked the parts list only to find out the impeller (Volvo Penta 3593573) is out of production? Can you verify this for me. Sounds odd to say the least. There are OEM impellers available on eBay however wondering if these are older stock.

See part 6 or 27. https://www.marinepartseurope.com/en/vo ... -7563.aspx

Are Volvo parts getting hard to get for some reason....curious.
The above is strictly my opinion always based on years of doing...remember to support local business , it pays back.

Not at all. They don't have the same dealership saturation like Merc does (dealer around every corner) but no problem getting parts. In Canada, the parts come from their distribution center in BC with next day delivery if you order early enough the day before. Surprising enough, even for a lot of older stuff, parts are still available for most. Some third party stuff is a different story like QL systems where they rely on other manufacturers. I can tell you it's way easier communicating with Volvo than some other OEMs. They actually pick up the phone!
