444 air filter tamd63

Postby seanoevil » February 4th, 2022, 8:19 pm

I have a 2004 444. I was wondering if anyone has changed the airfilters part # 3825038. They are located on the top starboard side of the engines. Ut says that you can clean them using diesel oil. Does anyone have any hints or suggestion on this function. see attached photo of the part.

thanks in advance

Hello,

If the foam is torn replace it otherwise remove put some diesel in a pale and wash it. Your crank case filters right behind it should be changed every 250 hours too.
