Yes, the C120 is no longer made, but any electronics you buy are obsolete the day after you buy it. That's how those companies stay in business. A friend of mine just paid $20K for a full update on the electronics for his Contender - gave the old stuff to the installer (including twin Garmin 741 units, radar, ducers, etc.) - who sold them on eBay.
Look at what you've got, check with some experts, and decide on your best path.

Took me about 20 minutes to install and everything works like a charm.
I also installed the sonar, and radar to a little longer for those.
My unit has built in WIFI so I can connect my iPad or iPhone to it and view it remotely, and even control it..
