Shifter cable 98 405 Aft Cabin

Yeah the cotter pin was still there. It appears vibration just caused it to come unthreaded from the attachment. Strange. I reattached it and it seems to be holding so we shall see.

Yes the cotter pin was still there. It appears maybe vibrations just caused it to come unthreaded from the attachment...? Strange for sure. I reattached it and it seems to be working fine. Had it out for several hours yesterday. We shall see.

Is there enough room to double nut it so it cannot vibrate loose again.

It should have a lock or double nut to prevent that. Put one on if you can. If not at least some lock tite.
