Some fancier places charge up to $10,000 for the same and require full payment of next years slip by end of August this year to reserve the slip. Getting nasty for sure. I need to drop by the marina office and pay my $230 to reserve my slip so much better in comparison.

Yikes! Ours required a 50% "deposit" for the summer slip by Feb 1 if you wanted to keep it. I always argued that it wasn't really a "deposit", it was 50% payment. A "deposit" would be more like 5 or 10%. $230 I wouldn't mind at all.

Does that include your indoor storage for the winter? In terms of storage and slip fees, it's a 12 month season!Midnightsun wrote:Source of the post ....I'm paying around $3,000CDN ....Being located up north the season is from mid May until mid Oct so I guess one can say $600 a month....
A lot of variables for sure. Some marinas also include shrink wrapping in their slip fees.

Re: Dock Fee By The Foot
One rule the old ownership did have was if you didn't winter store there you were not guaranteed your slip for the following boating season. Iv'e been there since 2017 and every season they are full up with no open slips. It's a nice marina.
