Bow & Stern thruster replacement

I have - seems nobody else made thrusters with 170mm tunnels except QL / Volvo unless there is an obscure brand out there?

So yes, my QL1200 was also seized and discontinued. It was recommended I replace with a complete new and re fiberglassed tunnel system at the cost of $20,000 complete. After this sticker shock, I simply took the seized motor in to be rebuilt and re wired $1,000 :-D

Curious....did any of the people you got quotes and recs from recommend the motor rebuild ? 20K ouch times a bunch.... :-O

No they didn't even after I asked them!

Don't get me started on Bradford's Marine in Freeport! :censored:

So I took it over to the shipyard nearby, great guys!
