Another possibility that you might check into is to have to moved via freighter. There are a lot of seasonal boats that go from FL to the Great Lakes each spring and fall. You just bring the boat to the 'terminal' (where the freighter is docked) and they hoist it onto the boat and block it for shipment. Then at the other end lift it from the freighter and drop it back in the water. You don't have to remove anything to do this. I would bet there's a similar service from the northeast to/from FL too.
