Cool, almost like having a variable pitch prop....good looking numbers there for sure in the going onto plane range especially.

I am wondering if the reason for no props under 150 HP is that the savings is minimal when compared to those motors 150 HP and above.

And yet Boat Test tested that same boat with the same engines in an earlier edition and got much better performance out of the standard props....

They do say that in this new test "The boat was retrofitted for a Seakeeper and two conventional Rolls batteries, which Riordan said added at least 800 lb. (363 kg.) to the weight of the vessel." but yet they show the "as tested" weight being almost 4,000 lbs heavier than the earlier test. What makes up the rest of the difference, and why aren't they running a different stock prop if the boat is really that much heavier??

I've got no dog in this hunt, but the more I read the more the math just doesn't add up.

The Sharrow props are very pricey. Probably need to work through all the R&D expenses before they get reasonable. er
