Re: 360SS Electrical Upgrade
On a side note, which covered marina are you at? We are going to need one in the not so distant future to replace and rebed some windows.
Hope you get everything resolved and the damage was minimal!

Downtown Sanford Marina. It is pretty much the furthest navigable destination up the St. Johns River; basically a two day sail from Jacksonville. It can be done in one very long or very fast day, but the St. Johns is a beautiful river. Most of it is still natural with a lot of birds and wildlife to slow down and enjoy.
Covered slips are rarely available for transients, but it is worth a call if you are interested in the side trip up the St. Johns. There was one end covered slip vacant when I was there yesterday, but it is exposed to sun on the west side from about noon on. There are about four other covered slips that have different boats in them from time to time. Our dock where the cover is has very friendly people and a half dozen or so live aboards. There are always people around to keep an eye on things.
While I haven't been there in close to twenty years, Lamb's Yacht Center in Jacksonville had a lot of covered slips and is a full service yard and marina. We stayed a few times as transients and always had a covered slip. I'm not sure their rules on DIY.
