Wiper Blade Refill

Postby feeez » July 12th, 2016, 5:07 pm

Attached is a shot of one of the wipers from our 350 Mariner. I am not have much luck in finding replacement blades that will fit the attachment point. I have been to Canadian Tire, Carquest, and NAPA. No luck yet.

Any suggestions would be welcome.

Measure the blade for length, most blades come with multiple adaptors. You should be to snap one on with no problem.
The part that is attached, (snapped) onto the blade itself should have a release bar underneath it to release it from the metal tab that is attached to the little bar like thing. Just snap the new one on and your good to go. Mike

Hi Fraser,
I bought a set last summer, that look just like that. I will try to get you the model number. But in the meantime, call Connie at Drydock Marine in Brechin, she can order them for you.

Ask her to look up my order, summer of 2015.

Keep the original arm and the plastic piece with the round holes. Gently pry out the blade, and snap new blade into the piece with round holes, and the new will look and work exactly like the old.

When I say pry out the blade, I mean the hard plastic blade assembly and not just the rubber blade itself.

I trust this helps.

Didn't Drydock close down?

Anybody that can order from Land and Sea or Paynes can get it for you. Pretty sure they both carry those.

Replace mine with Goodyear blade assemblies purchased at Costco. Each blade cost about $8.00 and included multiple attachments to meet the various designs.

Let me know the results, I need to replace the full assembly on mine, they are wore out and don't even lay down on the glass anymore.

As mentioned above, I replaced the wiper assembly which attaches to the wiper arm with the Goodyear Assurance. Yesterday, heading back to St. Joseph from South Haven, we hit a storm on Lake Michigan. Running directly into a driving rain. New wiper blades and assemblies held-up well! I also previously treated the windshield with Rain-X to help shed the water. My assembly uses the bayonet hookup.
