Steering

Hey there everyone. I have a 76 Sanya cruz amd im looking for the steering system name that is on my boat. Does anyone know where I could possibly find out what i have and where I might be able to find a replacement?

Assumig hydraulic. My guess It's probably hynautic or a teleflex syten system. Look at the steering cylinder on the steering linkage by the rudders should have a name there.

No it's all mechanical. From what someone told me it's a steering exchanger.

After pulling the fresh water tank out along with it's base I found the problem. The bracket that held the rear cable in place had corroded past it's life span, which looked like it was made of pot metal, not aluminum. Went to a friends fab shop, got some aluminum plate and used the front holder as a guide, and fabbed up my own bracket for a spot in the center of the bracket. I now have steering. Was told by the former owner him and his dad used the engines to drive, which is rather unsafe in my book. Running and under way as of last Thursday.
