I am a new member here, and a fairly new Carver owner (about 1 year). A "Classic" 1977 Carver Santa Cruz. She was procured from a longtime former owner who I enjoyed meeting and getting to know. She spent part of her life in the Inter-coastal waterways down in FL, made a run out to the Bahamas, and then was brought up to Tennessee to live along the Cumberland River. Next, settled into Center Hill Lake where she has been for about 10 years. Maybe a bit longer. I plan on keeping her right where she is as its a very happy place and she is frequently complimented.

She has aged very well. I am a big DIY'er so I have been working on getting to know every square inch of her over the months I've had her. I have a few projects I am working on to spruce her up a bit - new carpeting, teak work, and a couple of small mechanical jobs.

I am glad to be able to join a community of folks who appreciate a fine boat, and can get together to help each other out! I have owned fishing boats but was never satisfied with them. This ol Carver is just what I was looking for.

Welcome aboard. Always great to see someone look after the older gems of our brand and keeping them alive. It's part of our brand's heritage so I applaud you for looking after her.

Pictures please

I have recent photos handy, however I haven't washed her down from winter yet, so please do not judge too harshly as she is a bit dirty. Ill get a better photo possibly over this coming weekend. First photo is from last summer, second photo is from about a month ago - the first time I was able to get out to her this year and start getting her ready for the season.

I actually found some replacement Carver badges and restored to original look (cleaned, added white trim line) and will put those on this season too! Ebay has been my friend. :-)

As you can see I'm the oddball who doesn't have a pontoon HA! If I have the oldest Carver, I will carry that title with honor.
