Lost My Carver In Sally

Postby Fully_Vetted » September 25th, 2020, 1:41 pm

It has been very tough this past week and I have delayed reaching out to you guys. We took a total loss to our Santego. The Marina was completed destroyed here in Pensacola. The bow pulpit of a Sedan Bridge went straight in to our cabin and we are devastated. My heart goes out to anyone who has had a loss like this due to unforeseen tropical events. In 24 hours it went from a tropical storm going in to Texas to a Cat 2 that hit here. There was no chance to opt in to our haul-out program to the shipyard.
My husband and I are just now coming to grips to what has just happened.

Sorry to hear that, heard there was a lot of marina damages in your area....you had a nice model there, I liked those.....will you get another boat ?
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Oh my! :-O Not sure how I would handle this if it was Midnight Sun. I guess the saying goes as long as nobody was hurt is all that is important however the loss of a boat is either really painful or a blessing. In your car obviously the latter. Hopefully insurance takes care of you and on to another boat. :-)
Cheers, Hans

What a shame. I feel for you guys. Didn't you just get her this year? Hoe you can move into another dream boat soon. Fingers crossed it all works out for the best.

I feel your pain. Its has been many years since Hurricane Bob came ashore in Massachusetts and we lost our Regal. Had to be helicoptered out of the woods! You will recover and your next boat will be bigger and better. Stay safe and strong.
