Trying to identify this model

Postby LovaCarver » December 28th, 2021, 3:03 pm

Howdy! As the title says, I've been looking all over the internet and I'll be darned if I can come up with anything that identifies this particular model Carver. It's a 1977 with flybridge. The telltales that I've been trying to find on other boats in doing my research are the rectangular portholes as shown in the picture. There are two on the starboard side and one on the port side. Can anyone help me identify this model?

I think that is an old 33 mariner.

I could be wrong, but I'm told it's not a mariner. And I forgot to mention that it's 28 ft.

78 Carver 2826 Voyager.....at least in the 78 brochure.....no exterior wood around bridge.

https://carveryachts.blob.core.windows. ... 8/1978.pdf
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

g36: By george, I think you have it. I had considered that someone might have added the port lites, but I was still having trouble finding the rest of the configuration. Although I did not post interior photos here, I compared what I have with those posted at the link you provided. The interior is spot on. I think my mystery is solved. Thanks guys. :usa:

I bought this boat. Did the transaction today. Had a heckuva time trying to ID it also and the ports threw me off also! It is a Carver Voyager 2826. The boat came with the Carver manual and all manuals to all equipment/amenities. Still going through the stack of receipts. Very excited about the boat!

Congrats on the new boat!! I think it's great when the PO has all the documentation (on a boat or anything else).
