Welcome, there is a search feature for previous questions look near the blue stripe at the top of the page. It works really well alot of people don't think to use it. If you don't find your topic don't hesitate to ask any questions you have. Best of luck.

Hi all!
I did a few searches, but have not found a thread with what I am really looking to have answered. SO ... here goes!
We are avid fisher people. Trolling for walleye on Lake Erie is our favorite thing to do. We currently own (and are selling) a 2021 Crestliner 2250 sportfish. It is a terrific boat, but we recently adopted 2 great danes and .. well .. we need a bigger boat!
My question is - Does anyone regularly troll with a Mariner 36? I know .. a 35/36 foot boat is not normally the choice for trolling, but we really want the space for us and the danes. Yes, we cater to our dogs.

Interesting that you too like the 2005 Carver Mariner 36. they are hard to find. I will be taking that boat down the ICW later this month. I too like the simple and spacious layout.
