V drive type

Hi everybody,
Just got my 89 mariner 32 and was trying to figure out what make v drives I have, what would be the best way of telling

If I'm not mistaken, your boat should have Walters V-Drives...They should be remotely mounted with a jackshaft between it and the transmission.
