355 Carver question...lights

Postby benica » January 7th, 2023, 2:14 pm

Specific to the 355 model...
What light switch turns on/off the port side 3 ceiling lights in the main cabin?
By the sliding cabin door...2 switches...one is for the ceiling lights and the other is for the stairwell lights. On the counter side...kitchen top counter...4 light switches;
Upper 2.. one is the galley....one is the ceiling lights, one is for the kitchen table and the other seems to be for the engine room...not sure. But anyway....which switch is for the ceiling lights...port side...3 along the window/ceiling.

The lights on each side of the boat work off the switch by the door. The 4 switches by the stove…1 works the 2 lights over the galley work area, 1 for the light over the dinette, 1 for the light over the sink and 1 for the engine room.

The one for the engine room lights would likely be right above that little indicator light.

Yes, the indicator light switch is for the engine room, which in my boat is very dim. I thought mine had burned out until I turned it on one night when all my lights were off and the boat was dark. Just so you know, to see it, you have to stick your head into the engine room and look up as it is directly underneath the steps over top the aft battery.
