Moving to Lake Simcoe

Postby Makin Waves » September 27th, 2014, 6:22 pm

We have been boating on Lake Ontario for 4 years, bought a Carver 41CMY in spring from a dealer on Simcoe, made the trip through 41 locks to Port Whitby, bored down here so next spring we are making the trip back to Lake Simcoe, have a slip at Starport. Our boat was originally docked at Starport so it's going back home. Looking forward to being there next year.

Congrats on your move! I am in Starport Simcoe right now, but am heading to Starport Severn next spring when the locks open. Its a great marina, and Mark does a great job of running it. I have been there since 2004 and seen the changes over the years. Only reason I am heading to Severn is to be that much closer to the Bay.
