my meters are VDO not Hobbs. about 3/10 difference @ 250 hrs.

Hi there! I know this is an old thread but thought I’d share a recent experience. We had a pretty big storm a couple weeks ago and the helm on my 380 Santego got drenched. The fuses for my ignition got wet. While the boat would still start and all seemed fine, it appears the waterlogged fuses allowed a complete circuit. Therefore, my hour meters were clicking along even with the ignition in the off position.
