I just returned from putting on the vents. I actually put in 10 of them because it was simple and they were cheap.
At $1.90 USD, the more the merrier! You simply stick them on and cut out a rectangular hole in the middle.
I put one by each of the port lights and will open those with the screen for interior ventilation and then spread out 4 on each side, forward to aft.
I never know these existed until now but will use them going forward. They are called "Weather Tight Self Adhesive Vents".

Basically the same material you'd get with a purchase of large electronics like a TV and such. If you ever run across that stuff, keep it for this reason, then it'll be free!

I don't shrink wrap either. I just can't bring myself to cut off and throw away $1000.00. Too cheap I guess. I do remove canvas and strata glass and I made a cover for the deck and the front glass, enough to cover where snow might lay and melt and freeze and cause damage. The boat came with canvas covers for the helm and aft deck. So far so good, no ill affects.
