It's the E-35 gasket, right from Sherwood. Seems more accurate to say "Wrong Pump!," but therein lies the issue, what pump do I have?...

I don't think that's a E-35. The E-35 has both the inlet and outlet on the top and they are just threaded... you have to thread hose adapters into them for whatever configuration you need. However, the internals look the same as the E-35 and it looks like the same impeller and gasket. What you see when you look down inside is not a bearing, but a mechanical seal. If you were to take that C clip off, there's a spring behind it pushing on the seal. The bearing is right behind the pulley and you may or may not be able to see it unless you pull the pulley off (I can't see it on mine unless I pull the pulley off). Once you get the pulley off, there's an internal C clip that has to be removed and the shaft and bearing can be pushed out through the front of the housing.

The back "bearing" I refer to is actually a bushing and it's what supports the shaft at the back end. It is pushed into the housing cover that you have removed in that pic.

Here's what an E-35 looks like:

I think you may have a Sherwood P1014. It takes the same impeller as the E-35, but a different gasket. If you're going to be at the boat this weekend (or even Thurs evening) I can drop by with some extra Sherwood gaskets I have to see if one fits. PM me your number and I can give you a call to work something out if you're interested.

Seems like it is a 1014

It's frustrating because some sites use generic pics, which lead me to believe that the E-35 had multiple configurations for the ports (threaded, and cast, vertical and horizontal).

Thanks M2, I'll PM you my phone number. My old gaskets were untorn, I have one mechanical issue left that I'd like to take care of before I launch and head to Emerald City. I'm currently on the dry at Propeller Basin, hoping to be in the water next week.

I brought those spare gaskets out to the boat. Once you get to Emerald let me know and I can bring them over for you to take a look. Didn't realize you moved marinas!

I winter store at Propeller Basin. It's a little over 1/2 price, and 5 min. from my house. Same dock as last year, should be there early next week. Rain all-damn-weekend...
