Hi All:

We've jumped in deep with a '98 Carver 53 (Cummins 450's)--we've spent a year searching for the right boat. It took over 2 months to conclude the sale. Sea trials (yup multiple) showed some issues that hadn't cropped up earlier. So...with some new parts and some servicing we took possession a few days back.

Glad to be here (Sidney BC) and looking forward to learning from all of you.

Rob.

Welcome to the neighborhood Rob! The population of Carver boats in Canada is amazing! I assume the rest of your user name is your last name. Do you have any relatives in the US with the first name Wayne or Patricia? 8-) er

LOL--I WISH Uncle Wayne was my uncle...but he's not directly. It's a Dutch name, so we are related somewhere...but not directly.
