Go through Phrancus posts. He downloaded a lot of documentation from Carver's site before they shut it down. There's a thread that lists all the files he has.

Sometimes the manuals/user guides were not exactly year specific......perhaps a different year is just the same as yours.....worth a shot. Sorry I am not familiar with that model.....good luck.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Were you ever able to obtain an owners manual? I'm in the process of buying a 2004 Mariner and would like to read the manual beforehand.

Feel free to ask for other files from the list, I sent you what I thought might help. I do not know the exact model years and their differences. There also a bunch of generic files that I haven't got to sorting out yet.

As you found out and as bud37 pointed out, it will take a bit of puzzling to put together the data you can use.

Besides all that, I must also point out that even the correct manual does not always give you the detail you want. For example; mine does not state explicitly what brands and types of hardware were used. It has a list of optional hardware that may and may not be present in my boat. it does not show what is installed in - for example - wiring for hardware that turns out not to be there.

Luckily, the boats were not put together like CAN-bus vehicles with big wiring looms that contain similar colors in large variations. The only thing I find annoying is that sometimes wiring is tucked behind things that I cannot remove without damaging. So removing panels, seats, looms to figure it out may likely lead to difficulty in putting it all back together nice and tight.
