Kohler 7.3e genny

2002 Kohler 7.3e genny hard to start, runs great for about 5min, then quits. (No load) Hard to restart, but then only runs for a 1-2 mins then shuts off????

New plugs,impeller. Only 139hrs on the clock.
No display screen so does not show codes.

I have the same genset and was having similar problems a few years ago. My mechanic replaced the anti siphon valve and all was good. You might want to check it out. If you pull the old one out, just go ahead and replace it as it is a fairly cheap part.

I was thinking that could be the issue or possibly the low oil sensor. I will try and track a replacement anti siphon valve.
