2001 Carver 466- Vinyl/Rubber extrusions for window glazing

Postby Victorboat » August 29th, 2025, 10:11 am

Hello folks,

I have a 2001 466 Carver that needs to have the vinyl/rubber glazing strips replaced. Do you have a source for the vendor that Carver uses for these extrusions? I need the continuous strips that fit between the glass and the aluminum frames/extrusions. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Victorboat

Perhaps try other boat builders. I believe these types of parts may not be brand specific. The window/frame makers probably sold to any number of boat brands. Worth a shot.
FWIW.....The above is just my opinion.

Did you have any luck finding the rubber glazing strips?

Carver used to source most of their aluminum window extrusions and seals from Taylor Made Systems (now part of Lippert Components). You can try contacting them directly or checking with Marine Glass Specialties; they often have compatible vinyl/rubber glazing for Carver and Sea Ray models.

Another option: some owners have found good replacements through Pompanette or BoaterBits — they stock various window channel inserts and glazing profiles.
