1993 440 aft cabin shore power breaker tripping

Need some help! I am not on the boat. Most of the electrical load is off, but the shore power breaker on the pier pedestal keeps tripping. I'm on a 50 amp double pole breaker. I've removed the y-adapter and only feed the port side receptacle on the stern (no power to AC's). Water heater is off. biggest electrical loads are cyclic with the fridge and battery charger. Any ideas on what i need to check? Breakers on the boat are not tripping, nor is the small fuse on the stern receptacle

IDK if you have an isolation transformer, but my Charlese ISOBoost's automatic voltage control was randomly kicking our power off. I switched it to "manual override" per the manual and have had no issues since (>1 year). Just make sure the dock voltage is correct (220VAC) and not the lower 208 that some marinas use from lighting transformers. Good luck.

First things I would check are the plugs at both ends of the power cord and the inlet into the boat. You're looking for any signs of a poor connection or heat by looking around each contact for discoloration or melting. If there are any such signs, you should replace the item. Also try another pedestal in case it's a bad breaker or outlet on the one you're currently using. Also, do you know if the marina pedestals or main panels are utilizing ground fault protection? Check and let us know what you find.
