Breaker Replacement

Postby Postmaan » May 10th, 2022, 4:16 pm

My AC #2 on a Carver 355 keeps tripping the breaker switch. Does anyone know how to replace the breaker? Looks easy but not completely sure.

Thanks

Do you have an amp probe? it's possible the breaker is bad, but more than likely an issue with the a/c unit.

Hey, another idea is to disconnect your a/c power into the panel. Move the wire from the a/c unit that is tripping the braker to the other a/c unit breaker. reconnect the a/c. If it trips that one, you can pretty much be sure it's the a/c unit not the breaker.

Thanks for the suggestion. Original unit and after following your advice I believe it’s done. Installing a new AC unit.
