Hello all,I have a 1987 Carver 28 Voyager and am trying to find control cable length for starboard transmission shifter.These are from fly bridge to transmission.The cable that is there has no markings.

We are thinking about upgrading our 3807 to a 405 or 406. Problem is our slip is 16 ft tall. Does anybody know the exact height from the top of the arch to the water on the 405/406? We had to take our radar down for the 3807. It is 15’4”. 16’ marina roofs really limit the boat options.

Need to run some wires to the bridge. Has anyone removed the headliner in the salon? How is it attached? Any pics would be appreciated along with anyone who has removed headliner sections!

We own a 2024 Marquis 500 SB. After dewinterization, we turned on water pump and 2 of our sinks (VIP and guest stateroom) head faucets won't turn off. Nothing happens when you turn handle. All other sinks work fine. This happens whether we are hooked up to shore water or water pump. We believe there might be mineral build up as this happened to one of our showers before. The faucets are wall mounted. We can't for the life of us figure out how to get behind the faucets or remove them for inspection. Any guidance?

I’m looking to replace the acrylic white door that covers the shore-water inlet. Cut out is 10”W and 13 3/4” H. White molded FRP. Located in Milwaukee

I have a new to me 1985 3697 Mariner. I’d like to run the AC but it doesn’t seem like the AC water pump (assuming one pump for both AC units) is moving water in either forward or aft AC. Problem is I do not know where it’s located. I’ve found the water pump for the general water. But that’s not the AC water pump. Any help would be appreciated.

The other day I was on a short bay cruise, and when I turned around and put it in idle forward, a grinding, scraping, metal-on-metal noise came from what seemed to be the starboard side about mid-ship. The noise would stop after a few seconds and all seemed fine. This continued thru docking, every time I put the boat in forward the noise would start and last a few seconds then stop. I don’t want to move the boat until I can figure out what it is and have a mechanic look at it. Any ideas of where to start troubling shooting and what to look at with something like this? Could it be the transmission, bearings, something in propeller shaft seals...? Any help or ideas appreciated. :banghead:

How can I get access to the v drives
I can’t even reach the oil dip stick
Does this model have any panels to remove to service the transmission
Crawling behind the twin crusaders is not my best option

It seems that I have a leak somewhere in the potable water system services. The pressure pump runs momentarily on a regular basis without any of its services in use. Over the course of a week, when untended, over 80 gals. disappeared from the tanks ( I have a modified 105 gal potable water system) with water in a previously dry bilge. Is there any method or procedure on how to track down the leak that any one knows about?

Short of turning the breaker for the pressure pump off until a fresh water is needed I have no idea where to start :help:
